DESCRIPTION:Urban University is a high-impact summer program designed to prevent learning loss and expand youth opportunity during critical out-of-school months. The program integrates academic enrichment with creative and social development activities. \nParticipants engage in structured learning experiences that reinforce literacy\, STEM exposure\, leadership skills\, and civic awareness. The curriculum blends education with hands-on exploration to maintain momentum and curiosity throughout the summer. \nIn addition to academic support\, Urban University fosters peer collaboration\, confidence building\, and personal growth. Students develop communication skills\, teamwork habits\, and leadership traits that prepare them for the upcoming school year. \nBy combining structure with inspiration\, Urban University equips youth with the intellectual\, social\, and creative resources necessary for long-term academic\, career\, and life success.

This ongoing initiative helps meet immediate household needs while connecting community members to services that promote stability\, wellness\, and long-term support. \nIn addition to food assistance\, visitors may have access to community resource providers\, social service agencies\, workforce and employment resources\, educational and family support services\, household goods\, clothing\, personal care items\, and other donated resources as available. AAYHF is committed to serving the Manor community and surrounding areas by creating a welcoming space where families can receive practical help and meaningful support in one convenient location.
