Urban University is a high-impact summer program designed to prevent learning loss and expand youth opportunity during critical out-of-school months. The program integrates academic enrichment with creative and social development activities.
Stay connected with upcoming events, community programs, resource fairs, youth activities,
volunteer opportunities, food pantry distributions, workshops, and special gatherings hosted
or supported by the African American Youth Harvest Foundation. The AAYHF Events Calendar is
designed to help families, students, volunteers, donors, partners, and community members stay
informed about meaningful opportunities happening throughout Austin, Manor, Travis County,
and the greater Central Texas region.
Through our events, AAYHF continues its mission of serving youth and families through
education, mentoring, workforce readiness, trauma-informed care, family support, food access,
community engagement, and wraparound services. Whether you are looking for youth development
programs, family resources, volunteer service opportunities, community resource days, or ways
to support local nonprofit outreach, this page provides current information about how to get
involved and stay connected.
